Clarity that holds up in real life.
Relational and life coaching that starts beneath the surface.
Surface fixes don’t hold. Groundwork does.
Patterns. Values. A nervous system. The roots of how you love, lead and decide.
Sound familiar?
Take the 2-minute quizBusy is easy. Quiet is harder.
Problems all day, no problem. The slow Sunday is the hard part.

Papaver rhoeas. Built for rest, rarely given it. Conflict turns into a debate, or a disappearing act.
Argue what’s fair, fix it fast, or go quiet until it passes.

Centaurea benedicta. Armoured, for good reason, once. You’re the steady one. Who’s steady for you?
Everyone leans on you. Nobody reads between your lines.

Quercus robur. Holds everything up. Rarely asked. You’ve done the thinking. You’re still not moving.
You know your patterns. You still stall at the decision.

Tulipa. Everything it needs, waiting underground.
Nothing’s broken. A skill is missing.
When it gets heated, I usually…
Pick one. Most people recognise theirs instantly.
The old move made sense once. What’s missing:
Naming the frustration instead of litigating it.
“Part of this feels unfair to me, and I notice I want to argue. Give me a second. I want to hear you.”
The old move made sense once. What’s missing:
Asking for a pause, with a time you’ll come back.
“I’m getting flooded and I don’t want to shut you out. Twenty minutes, then let’s finish this.”
The old move made sense once. What’s missing:
Understanding before solving.
“Before I jump in with ideas, can I make sure I get what this is like for you?”
The Groundwork Loop
Self-reflection isn’t meant to go on forever.
Hit a block? Loop back, clear it, keep going.
- KnowingSee the pattern. Enough to know, not forever.
- WantingFind what you actually want, not what fear wants.
- MovingPaced steps your nervous system can trust.

Whose approval are you working for?
Together we build your Pillow Standard: your own measure of a good day, checked before sleep.
- Did I act from fear, or from what I love?
- Where did I stay honest, even when it wasn’t perfect?
- What do I need to say, repair or let go of?

I’ll understand you quickly. And I won’t just nod along.
You don’t need to arrive making sense. That part is my job.
Questions people ask first
How is Groundwork coaching different from therapy?
My perspective is informed by my background in psychotherapy, but Groundwork is coaching, not clinical therapy or mental-health care. It doesn’t address mental-health conditions, and we don’t revisit the past for its own sake. We look back just enough to see your patterns clearly, then focus forward: pinpointing practical relational skill gaps, getting clear on what you truly want by your own values, and taking paced steps toward it.
I’ve done business coaching, but never anything like this. Will I be out of my depth?
Not at all. If you understand systems, bottlenecks and habits at work, this will feel surprisingly familiar. Groundwork is built for people who are great at solving practical problems but have never had a clear framework for their relationships or inner life. My job is to keep it warm, judgment-free and practical, and to translate complex emotional patterns into skills you can actually use.
Do I need to know what I want to work on before I book?
No. Most people arrive with a feeling, not a plan, and that’s normal. Ramble if you need to. I’ll reflect back what I’m hearing and help you find the thread.
What happens after I book?
We’ll meet for a free 15-minute discovery call on video. You’ll talk through where you feel most stuck, and I’ll share what I see as your entry point for change, whether that’s a relationship, a conflict cycle, or figuring out what you want next. You’ll get a real taste of how we’d work together. If it’s a good fit for both of us, I’ll send a personalized coaching package and payment link tailored to your goals.
Do you work with individuals, couples, or both?
Both. I offer one-on-one coaching and couples coaching. For couples, the work can blend joint sessions with individual ones.

You don’t have to know where to start.
That’s what the first call is for.
